These sensations are normal, expected, and fade within an hour or two. Our clinical team is there with you the entire time to ensure you are safe and supported.
The entire in-office process takes about two hours. This includes the time to self-administer the nasal spray, a period of rest, and the required safety monitoring by our healthcare team before you are cleared to leave.
No. Because SPRAVATO® can cause sedation and impair your coordination and reaction time, you must not drive or operate heavy machinery for the rest of the day. You must arrange for a ride home from a family member or friend after every treatment session.

Yes. SPRAVATO® is a prescription nasal spray that is always taken in addition to your daily oral antidepressant.
